To begin our year of prayer and fasting we want to spend this first week in united prayer over the vision being presented for 2021. We want, as a church family, to embrace change. We want to embrace victory. We want to embrace salvation. We want to see lives changed. We want the hurting and hopeless to walk through our doors and find grace, salvation, and peace.

Bible Scripture: Isaiah 43:19 - Behold, I will do a new thing: now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.

Faith ApplicationCommit to praying every day this week and fasting one day a week. Pray when you want. Remember, you may not pray an hour a day but don't let an hour go by without communicating with God. On your fast day, fast whatever you feel, but let it be a sacrifice; let it be from the heart. Fast something that has become an idol in your life and takes up your time and your energy in place of moments with God.

Prayer Focus: This week, focus your prayers on the ministry and the body. Pray that an edifying word goes forth every single week. Pray that it is encouraging, meaningful, but most of all anointed. Furthermore, pray that the Word is accepted by the body; that it is not only heard but practiced and shared.

Family Activity: As a group, make a list of spiritual goals. How can your family grow spiritually over the next year? With all of the chaos in the world, if we are living in the end times, how can we assure our salvation? Allow everyone to contribute ideas and complete a bible study that addresses salvation... like this one!
