Welcome to Faith Temple of Sulphur, LA. I am so glad that you have found our website and have chosen to spend a few moments looking around and discovering our church family. The word family is important. We are all here to grow, mature, and nurture as a family should.
We are a group of people committed to following Jesus. That means we worship him with vigor and joy. That means we encourage prayer in church and throughout life. That means we love people outside the church through generosity, invitation, and compassion.
Our hope is that all people will feel loved and welcomed at Faith Temple. And once here, we pray that people will meet God and as a result of meeting God, give their lives to Jesus Christ. We want that for you. Come as you are. Check us out, but more importantly, seek the truth of God that can only be known when one knows Jesus.
My family's number one goal, is to serve our church and our community. Our burden is for the lost and we want to grow our church to have that same kingdom-minded mentality. We are far from perfect but we can offer the love and support that can only come from understanding the compassionate God we serve.
While you are browsing our website, you will learn about our programs and get a glimpse of who we are, but only a glimpse. To fully understand us, come to a worship service or to a small group and feel the up-close, in-person fellowship that comes when people share time together with the Holy Spirit present. Enjoy the website, then come visit. We’d love to meet you and know you.
God bless,
Pastor Chris & family
In November of 2016, Rev. Christopher L. Guidroz and family were appointed as new pastors for Faith Temple of Sulphur. Pastor Chris was raised in Texas. He evangelized around the United States for nearly 20 years. He has been blessed to travel many countries around the world speaking at various churches and conferences. In 2012, he settled in the Lake Area and committed himself to local ministry and evangelism until being called to Faith Temple. Pastor Chris is called with his wife, Anna Guidroz and children, Shelby, Eli, Emily Ann, and little Christopher (Chip); all of which share a burden for serving the Sulphur community through ministry.
